Now we have Graham i think its time to say goodbye to Sess at the end of the season. Don't get me wrong when we first signed him he set the world alight but i just think this season apart from a couple of quality goals and the odd touch here and there he hasn't really done it for me. He doesn't really affect games like he used too. I think if we sell him at the end of the season we still might get a decent price for him. i would now like to see Graham partner Fletcher upfront as a 2 and start getting Wickham involved too.

Keep him but drop him for now.

An on-form Sess is unplayable. However, he has become lazy of late coz he knows he will always get picked.

My view is that we select 2 of the 3 of them based on form

Who'll buy him on this season's form? I'd rather keep him as he is more valuable to us than he is to the summer market. He'll come good in time.

i feel as though his heart isn't in it this season. I think he wanted away last summer but no big clubs came in for him. Whats the point in having someone who isn't gonna put his all into the club when youv'e got someone like Whickham desperate to play who isn't getting a look in.

Crowd pleaser but something of a 'fancy Dan'. Never looks up, can't pick a pass and can't shoot.
Love to watch him with the ball mind but how many clubs are interested in him now? Says it all really

We don't know what's going on behind the scenes, but it is certainly puzzling from where I'm standing.

I would not sell sess, u would try and factor him into central mid if we are playing 442, a scholes type role, imho he could be super effective there

clearly we can see he has not been up to scratch why does MoN insist on playing him in every game maybe a couple of games on the bench.

To be honest most of the time I think you are a total cockend but I think this is spot on. A few games on the bench for Sess and allow other formations to be used might not be a bad idea.

    PS - youre still a cockend btw:emoticon-0116-evilg

Sorry mate but Sess is nowhere near the quality or effectiveness of Scholes. If Sess starts tackling like a tiger, works his bollocks off AND on top of all that wades in with 9 or 10 goals EVERY year THEN he may be compared.

As it is, Sess is often nothing more than a spectator during games imo.

I think this season proves why a club ought to sell any player as soon as the media hype is at a frenzy. We could have sold Sessegnon for 16-17 last summer. We can chalk off 10 million if he does leave the club. I remember 10 million being mentioned for McClean last season too. I won't be to unhappy if Sessegnon leaves in the summer.

He's our best player by a mile. If we had two good centre midfielders you'd see how good sess could be.

Not comparing him to scholes mate, i mean a roaming mid like scholes plays, he is out of position atm imo, would be much more effective along side catts for me or even on the left wing, sitting behind doesnt suit him

This here proves you aren't a Sunderland fan and know **** all about us. He took about 6 months to settle in and show what he was capable of.

    Cock.

If sess leaves for another side , it will be the same problem for his new manager, where to play him is a quandry for anybody.
i wonder where he wants to play ,
i would say that any top side probably have a better option in that posisition already, the manager has not played him at all in a front pair ,its always behind a lone striker , who gets the knock ons with us nobody, we are reliant on counter play or the lone man holding it up, no good with any ball over chest height.

as a foot note whos our stricker on the bench now that connor has gone, it all pointss to still one up front

When you look at Sess at PSG, there's some stunning skill and creativity.

It's all down the right flank.

The answer, Sess goes RM, AJ LM, and Catts & whoever in the centre.

    Problem solved.

The exact thing I've been saying all season. Mentioned it on a couple of threads on here too.

MON obviously sees something we don't.
