Just been reading that they might have to play Squilacci alongside mertesacker. Few fans getting abit worried describing it as the slowest cb partnership imaginable. Wonder if it affects Marty's thinking, maybe we might get that 4-4-2.

Its filled me with hope anyway

Don't get your hopes up too much Parker, he aint gunna change any time soon. We dont use our pace through the middle so it's probably the right time for Arsenal.

I'm dreading Wilshere against us, he is absolute quality!

Think McClean could be the key man for this match. We need his pace and workrate to help out the defence from wide attacks and I think he and Rose could hurt them going forward. Think Mertesacker will have some bad memories of McClean too

Walcott is in fantastic form so he has to be watched. The funny thing is we will get more chances against Arsenal because of their attacking attitude, and is Rose fit ?. Graham and Fletcher up front, Sess behind them Mclean, sebb, Johnson, Gardener,Mangane, O Shea, Rose, Mig.

Looking forward to seeing Graham for 10 minutes. hence 4-5-1. hope we are still in it at 80 minutes.

    Sign him up Marty
    Gardner O'Shea Bramble Rose
    Johnson N'Diaye Colback Sessegnon
    Graham Fletcher

Surely our strongest team? Is Mangame a better option than Bramble? Vaughan instead of Colback?

    MIG

    Gardener, JOS, Bramble, Colback

    NDiaye

    Johnson, sessegnon, rose

    Graham, Fletcher

That's a pretty pacy midfield to combat Walcott and Wilshire and 2 lads with goals in them up front.

Alfie gives the back 4 some cover too.

Did we? Who did we miss out on then? Or was it a case of wait until the summer for our targets?

I think we will see a RB, CH, LW and striker in the summer AND Rose permanently along with Mangane.

I also think Killgallon and Brown will be released and Bramble offered a new 2 year contract.

Obviously the Gooners haven't seen our CB pairings lately.

I would go with that C'est, MON will go to his death if he sees that team. Far to attack minded.

Mertesacker and Squillaci make Oshea and Bramble look like the Jamaican sprint team. Ill be confident we can cause them problems if they have those two at the back as opposed to Vermaelan and Koscielny. As for Walcott and co, they could destroy us or they could have a no show like City did. We generally have done well against Arsenal at the Sol and im hopeful of a good result

It would help considerably if Walcott, Wiltshere, Oxlade C & Santi were injured or rested as well.
