i worked there when the readership was quoted at 350k per day. Not circulation though, just readership. Circulation used to be rated about a third of it's readership! I reckon that the readership now struggles through 100k per day and I d also hazard a guess at circulation below 30k. So in honesty, I reckon it is only those who do not access it online who buy it anyway so again, debateably, such an action would hardly affect sales on a daily basis.
So gawge Are you saying the quote I posted at the beginning is unimportant and tonight's print copy will match the website? If that's true then why do they say "Read more from Swanny in today's Mail." This clearly implies that the website article is just a taster, and the rest is available in the print edition.
What he's saying is, no matter where you live, the website is the same, so no personal persecution because you live in London. The paper obviously has more in it. At the end of the day, everything that is written there can be viewed across the internet in some form or other, with the exception of peoples views, like Swanny's,possibly. Ultimately though as long as you get the main news about the club, are you really that bothered about what Swanny thinks? It's like complaining about Humberside is persecuting everyone who can't pick up the signal on match days.
