How much would you get if he was just placed and how much if he is unplaced?

You could back all the others to return £100 as long as that costs less than £100. At the prices a minute ago it would cost £88 in which case if you don't win your £1.4k you would make £12 on your covering bet plus whatever you get back on your L63.

Someone may have a better plan but there isn't much time.

£125 lose or £148 place its drifted like mad, 7/2 to 11/1 so not very confident.

SMP - let it roll mate and fingers crossed :) you'll get no value laying at that price now. i'd watch it in-play and lay it if the odds come in or alternatively just stick a tenner on a couple of the other horses who you fancy.... good luck!

Not much you can do at those odds really by the sounds of it SMP, did you take a price on it? Atleast if it wins it will be significantly more if it drifts.

    Best of luck! :emoticon-0148-yes:

Oops. That's buggered it. Your selection has drifted right out to rank outsider and Now it would cost just over £100 to return £100.

Might as well just accept it isn't going to win and pick up whatever you have won already. Hope it surprises everyone and wins for you.

    Don't say I didn't tell anyone

Would be tempted to put the winnings on Pete The Feat (Kempton 16.00) with a little saver on Renard D'irlande, prices permitting. Forecast odds 3/1 and 5/1

Await the Dawn could carry this field and still win on his old old form. 10/1 is too big so each way bet.

Placed so small profit. Left it way too late to make a move and had to come all the way from the back. Cant complain, profit is profit.

Rutland Boy 16/1 in the last

Just who gets the best trip in these Meydan races, horses out the back have absolutely no chance on the tapeta.

I have been a little busy to take much a look at whats been going on today but have decided to have a bet in the last at Wolverhampton. I think this horse has hinted at having a least enough ability to win a race like this on his last couple of runs and I feel 7-2 is a decent price to see if he can do so tonight.

    Wolverhampton
    8.05 Excalibur 7-2

Just watched a re run of Clonmel and two i'm taking from today are By Design in the Hunter Chase who was backed and was cruising in second when unluckily brought down 3 out.Arthur Moore doesn't have many in Hunters and this young horse can win at this level in this division before possibly entering open company.

Even more taking was Skip A Beat in the Novice 'Chase. This 5-y-o was having his first ever run in this and closed right up behind three very decent sorts before fading and getting outpaced in the straight. This debut effort was packed full of promise and I will be watching closely to see what sort of campaign Francis Flood jnr charts for him.

Milo Man at Taunton was a spectacular winner of the Bumper but looked to good to be true and the cat is well and truely out of the bag with him!

Anyone else impressed by anything else today?
