OK, just flew British Airways and got to watch a video on board of the top 500 goals. It was quite an old video. I wouldn't describe the goals as the best 500 goals ever but certainally, there were some good ones. 999's mentioned the other day about a pub quiz so I have a question for you all in relation to the three QPR goals to feature in the video; Our three goals I would describe as, one very good goal, one fairly decent goal and one not so good goal. The question is, who scored the 3 QPR goals featured in the video? Heres are some clues 1. The really good goal Scored against Chelsea in the cup. 2. Fairly decent goal Scored against Barnsley. 3. Not so good goal Scored at St Marys Stadium. All three goals were scored within the last 15-20 years. I will give it a couple of hours to see how you get on with your guesses and come back and give you some more hints if needed.
1: Mark Falco (Could be Quashie but I'll go for Falco) 2: Sinclair (But surely it's better than fairly decent if we're talking about Sinclairs?) 3: Ray Jones
The last goal was scored by a much maligned player, not too dis-similar to Hulse. I was shocked he would feature in any compilation of greatest goals!!
No. Here are some more hints, the player who scored the third goal also made the assist for the second.
Wasn't Vinnie Jones' scissors kick against Huddersfield in his debut all those years ago? Fifteen was it? Christ we've signed some headbangers in our time, Joey was not an aberration....
Sorry Silentbob, I didnt answer as I thought it was obvious that your guess was wrong. The third goal I described as "not so good goal" so it couldn't have been a Nygaard screamer??
I am slightly surprised so far. I will add that Norway did in fact get one guess right (at the second attempt). Congratulations Norway, the first goal was indeed scored by Nigel Quashie against Chelsea. So, who scored the other two goals. They were much more recent than Quashie's, ie in our Championship days. See other clues already given.
Both incorrect. Further clues, the scorers or the second and third goals were both released within the last year or two.
