West Bromâs winger is set to make the switch until the end of the season with Palace boss Ian Holloway aiming to make his deal permanent in the summer. Palace will have to pay an initial fee to West Brom for Odemwingie and then a further sum for his services if the south Londoners are promoted to the Premier League. It will be a huge boost for Holloway to capture the Nigeria international as he looks to spend some of the £15m windfall from the sale of Wilfried Zaha to Manchester United. It is a win-win situation for both Palace and West Brom following the fall-out from Odemwingieâs antics on deadline day when he travelled to QPR hoping to clinch a move despite not having permission to talk to Harry Redknappâs QPR. Odemwingieâs behaviour was roundly condemned by West Brom chairman Jeremy Peace and head coach Steve Clarke and the clubâs supporters echoed that displeasure before last Sundayâs 1-0 home defeat by Spurs. One banner reading: âOdemwingie outâ was held up before being removed from view by stewards. The player himself has been in to training this week but has so far refused to apologise to Peace and the clubâs board. West Bromâs players too have been given the chance to profess their support for their colleague but their utterances in public have hardly been warm. 'We will get on with it,' said Steven Reid, 'itâs not the way I would have gone about doing things. Itâs up to him.'

Or a player making a stand after being told he can leave, then being ****ed about by a chairman who thinks he OWNS him?
A classic case of cutting your nose off, to spite your face though mate. West Brom are now no better off either really. The whole thing is a complete mess. I really don't know the answer as to the best way of handling that situation.
