The memorial they are playing on talksport is quite poignant..

Was the only time I've ever cried at a football match was the 50th anniversary vs City.

I agree this is not the place to have a dig at each other. Plenty of other threads to do that on.

i thought about this in work today, and it's true, we take it way too seriously in my opinion, i don't my banter as i've said many times on here but when days like today come around ( its the 55 years since the Munich air disaster ) rivalry has been put to one side, i would like to say thanks to City and Liverpool for paying tribute today, it was a touch of class by them.

I don't think there's anything wrong with taking it too seriously, some people are just scummy ****wits with no morals or sense of shame.

I was just a kid at school when it happened and although not a Man U fan the Busby Babes had caught everybody's imagination with their exciting football. I remember at the time I was collecting football cards of players from bubble gum packs and I had a complete set of the Man U Team. It was a shock as as I looked at the photos of these young men and realised, perhaps for the first time in my life, that they had gone and would never be around again. Just to mention one, Duncan Edwards who would have become one of the all time greats just 21. A great anyway!

    Very very sad.
