Lampard never gives the ball away, he's been class but Wilshere is rightly MOTM.

Milner has been poor but apart from that a good performance all round and I include Cahill in that.

    Dunno about that.

Jar Jar Binks has been quiet tonight after all the media hype. His penalty was poor.

    Get in!

Finally, we've beaten Brazil after 23 years.

Finally got to see it happen. Feels nice.

    Agreed.

He's not better than Xavi or Iniesta, but I rate him higher than Busquets.

Oh, and Neymar summed himself up today.

The most overrated young player since Freddy Adu.

Shame we couldn't have Wilshere and Gerrard in his prime together.

I thought Wilshere and Lampard linked better.

Wilshere has that little bit of magic and spark and Lampard is supreme in possession, he never loses the ball which is paramount at this level.

Lamps might not last until the next World Cup but he is still a mighty fine player.

    IMO.

Really really good match. England dominated midfield.

Have to disagree with some of the comments on here, although not one of Wellbeck's best performances I think he's generally a good player for England.

I cant think of two better English strikers.

I missed the game because I was at work but caught the last 20 minutes or so on the +1 channel. Saw the goals too, very nice.

    What did Cahill do?

Kept Neymar quiet all first half and then made a mistake that directly led to their goal

Glad to see Walcott, Lampard and Wilshere getting a lot of praise. They're three of my favourite England players, all in top form at the moment too.

Wish I'd seen the game now, just hope we have a few more games like this in the near future and can bring back some positivity and pride in the national team.

I thought Lampard was poor last night - he gave away the ball on several occasions with either a sloppy pass, or trying to do too much. Agree on Wilshire.

I was impressed with Baines when he came on.

You really don't like Milner do you <laugh>

Tried to be Beckenbauer and dribble the ball out of defence and got caught out.
