Don't think even I would be that rubbish to spin the car on a straight, must of been a suspension failure then.
When Santander were backing them yeah, Lewis last time I checked doesn't have a bank following him and to be accurate I doubt any team on today's grid would pay 60-90m just to get Lewis out of his contract. You could spend half of that on a brand new wind tunnel and the other half into the team and it would do more with regards to gaining time.
I'm not saying anybody would pay that... just pointing out that there is silly money out there. Anyway.... not sure where this info regarding cost to buy him out if his contract comes from or how any performance clause may work. None of us are privy to that info.
So is the problem the proximity/depth of the U-shaped exit, or the small horizontal winglet(?) towards the end?
No grass around, so must be suspension. Car clearly snaps away quickly just as her hits the braking zone.
"There's always performance stuff going on in the background but we want to make sure that we have a lot of systems checks," Webber explained. So only coasting and race pace for the first 2 days for Mark.
You can be as calm as you want, but I really think Mercedes are the worst team, (relative to expectations). They can't even run one car on one day, let alone two.
Calm down and wait for the season to start proper. If Mercedes are still in 17th/18th place then we can all have a group huddle and cry together.
All have pretty mediocre records pre F1 to be honest with you although Van De Garde has got plenty of laps under his belt after today and tommorow the most promising rookie in most people's eyes Bottas gets a go so it will be interesting to see how he goes. But to be brutally honest Chilton and Raiza are only there for money ditto Van De Garde.
