Most likely to come off the bench and get about 10mins maybe. He hasn't played much for Inter as well, so he severely lack match fitness.

I was thinking the same, I can't wait to see this guy play. If he can take on the first man, and beat him with pace, we might be going places.

It's something we've been short on in recent years, someone with the skill and confidence to
take defenders on.

Suarez isn't lacking in that respect but the likes of Downing...........

Agreed but only if he has an end product too.....otherwise we'll have a fast Downing on our hands! <ok>

The sooner we replace Downing in our attack, the better.

I know Downing isn't a popular choice and I also think he is dog **** but do you think taking him out and replacing with another nippy small guy might upset the balance we seem to have at the moment?

I don't know anything about him, so interested to see him on the pitch.

This is more of a problem with the lack of quality/depth that we have to rely on Downing on a regular basis.

I'm hoping that Coutinho can hit the ground running as soon as possible but I think he will need plenty of time to adapt before he makes an impact.

Personally I think Couthino will take a while to adapt.

Depends how he is played for me.

if he is starting and playing in key games, then he will have a lot of pressure on him to perform, if we use him and bring him on in games to get fitness and confidence up etc when we are wining, it may be easier for him to adapt.

just depends how we use him, hope we choose the right one.

If I am honest apart from a few clips on youtube I have seen next to nothing of this guy and I have learnt the hard way you can not judge a player by youtube video’s. Even Voronin looked pretty good on youtube. I know from things that I have read that big things were expected of Coutinho a couple of years ago so I am hoping he lives up to that potential.
