Day 3.5: Did me first laundry in England today, bought a rack to hang on the radiator. Whilst hanging me clothes on the rack the radiator came off the wall.#FML.

Day 4: Radiator ain't fixed today, freezing cold. Bought an iron, almost forgot about that. First day at the Uni, camera instructions, system instructions, microphone instructions, insurance instructions, online system instructions, lectures etc. etc. For documentary making there were 3 others present, there's suppose to be more, prolly pop up next week. Oh and made me first Indian curry! We don't do them in Dutchland, Indonesian food is more common there. Tasted exactly as the microwave package even though I added some extra unions, garlic and vegetables. Bit of a downer.
No pint today, this trip is getting quite expensive...

Right, day 5: Radiator got fixed, did some ironing and some shopping. Think I've finally settled in now. Got the assignment to start looking for topics for the documentary I'm going to make about a current affair in South East England. Oh and I saw a chicken restaurant who were in need of staff and drivers. Might just pop in.

day 5.5: been to Old Hastings today, can't believe that was a battlefield, some old castle and a couple of streets, what's the fuss about? Nothing happened there since 1066 apparently...

Hastings is a hole. And the battle of 1066 took place at the aptly named Battle, which is nearby.

Nope, watch it in the pub sometimes though :embarrassed:
Speaking about pubs, I'm heading there now, gonna watch England's arse getting kicked by Brazil if the not606 forecast on the game is to be believed.

Day 8: nearly got arrested tonight. Went to a party where some people came in with a lot of weed, bongs etc. Like ten minutes later 7 police cars came up front. Scared the living daylight out of me as I was trying to leave the party. Turns out the coppers responded to a domestic abuse call nearby. Managed to slip out through the front door and headed home in a mannerly fashion. My heart is still racing...
