I can't see how that can be allowed by the FA. PO won't be playing for us this season.

But looking at it another way mate....I can't see how they could stop it.
If the players contract gets terminated then he is a free agent, therefore he could be signed as a free agent as long as we have space for him in the 25....and if rumours are true about DJs loan then we have.
I'm no expert but it makes sense.....

According to David mac, remy's injury is just a strain and not torn as alluded to by HR.

I guess he's playing mind games.

it seems everyone is guessing, the report says its feared he will be out for 2 months, not he is, i bet he plays again in late febuary, a strain does not keep you out long, 2-3 weeks

The player is the property of WBA. He has 18 months left on his contract and therefore value, so why would they terminate and let him sign for someone else on a free?? There won't be mutual consent to terminate and PO can't just walk out.

We have named our 25! Can't bring in another outfield player this season unless he's under 21 I think it is.

You can bring in a player no matter their age if they are a free agent.

But looking at the way WBA handled the affair on tdd can anyone see them letting him go? Unless we came to some agreement to sell them a player and they agree to let him go. But seeing as we offered everyone to them and all they wanted was Hoilett, who we are not prepared to let go, so it's as you were.

I don't disagree with you but surely PO's position at WBA is surely untenable. After what went on surely he won't ever play for them again and STILL be costing them vast amounts in wages. The fans hate him and i'd hazard a guess that his fellow players do as well. Of course they could cut their noses to spite their face and leave him rotting in the reserves But surely logic serves to cut their losses, save the wages and let him go.
Of course, as said by many already, this is only guesswork and to some extent me clutching at straws.

How about this then this should make you all feel more realistic:

What's the Treatment for a Groin Pull?

Happily, a groin pull will usually heal on its own. You just need to give it some time and rest. To speed the healing, you can:

Ice the inside of your thigh to reduce pain and swelling. Experts recommend doing it for 20-30 minutes every three to four hours for two to three days, or until the pain is gone usually a few months
Compress your thigh using an elastic bandage or tape.
Take anti-inflammatory painkillers. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), like Advil, Aleve, or Motrin, will help with pain and swelling. However, these drugs can have side effects; they should be used only occasionally, unless your doctor specifically says otherwise.
Practice stretching and strengthening exercises if your doctor recommends them.
Most of the time, these conservative treatments will do the trick. But not always. If these techniques still haven't helped after six months, you may want to think about surgery. While surgery may give you relief, it's a last resort. Not everyone can return to their previous level of activity afterward.

So, talk over the pros and cons of surgery with your doctor. You should also consider getting a second opinion.

When a Groin Pull Feel Better?

Everyone wants to know how quickly they can get back in the game after a groin pull -- and how soon the pain will go away. But there's no easy answer. Recovery time depends on how serious your groin pull is. It may take four to six weeks, but that's just a rough estimate. People heal at different rates and some mainly French people never recover and are forced to retire from Queens Park Rangers on full pay:

I did it playing tennis and it was a bugger to get rid of. I suppose Remy will have slightly better treatment options than a hot water bottle and tlc from the missus!

Not if you have already named 25 players which we did as the Official :

    HARRY NAMES 25-MAN SQUADtwitterfacebookemailprint PUBLISHED

    17:00 1st February 2013

    by @OfficialQPR

R's boss confirms side for rest of the season ...

QPR BOSS Harry Redknapp has finalised his 25-man squad for the remainder of the 2012/13 Barclays Premier League season.

Club-record signing Chris Samba has been named as one of eight defenders while fellow permanent deadline-day recruit Jermaine Jenas is also included.

Three of January's other additions, namely Yun Suk-Young, Tal Ben Haim and French striker Loic Remy, have also been handed a spot in the R's final squad.

Front pair Jay Bothroyd and DJ Campbell - who returned from loan spells at the start of 2013 - are amongst Redknapp's five attacking options.

Players born on or after January 1st 1991 are classed as under-21 players and are therefore eligible to feature throughout the season despite not being named in the official 25-man squad.

    The 25-man squad ...

    Goalkeepers: Cesar, Green, Murphy

Defenders: Ben Haim, Bosingwa, Fabio, Hill, Onouha, Samba, Traore, Yun

Midfielders: Diakite, Derry, Granero, Hoilett, Jenas, Mackie, Mbia, Park, Wright-Phillips

Strikers: Bothroyd, Campbell, Remy, Taarabt, Zamora
    """"""

All this about P O is not one bit relevant to us now before next season.
