Perhaps, rather than a one-word reply I should have said: I knew they both had slight knocks (Ramirez possibly slightly worse than Clyne's), so this is a sensible precaution.

We lack cover for Clyne as it is. Full Backs were our problem this season until Luke Shaw stepped up, and they were a problem for a lot of last season as well. Imo, and I've said this many times before, we only have Clyne and Shaw who are up to the job at this level, unless Jack Cork drops to right back, but then we miss him massively in mid field. Some reports suggest that Forren can play at full back, let's bloody hope so. Some reports also suggest that Danny Fox can play at full back, but...

Playing Forren anywhere near full back would be like playing Jos there. Forren has never played full back, only ever CB.

He has played left-back for both Molde and Norway.
