Not really mate, I just enjoy the impenetrable language you real experts use. Apple man myself, 5 iPads of all generations,mac, couple of iphones and countless ipods of various types in the house. But I never ask them to do anything too demanding, so have never been tempted to fiddle with them. What are the advantages of jailbreaking?
Well back on IOS 5 the last apple operating system you could download apps from installous ( a pirate version of app store ) for free, sadly thats been pulled now but there are alternatives. I guess depends what your looking to do but JB will give you access to certain settings that are there but apple doesnt want you to see !! Topic is definately OT but Iv'e been waiting 6 months for this piece of software as I'm a nerd as you can tell, the missus says i get a hard on with software lol. Still good distraction from the football side of things aint looking good
Not a criticism, but I have a queasy feeling about 'for free' stuff. I know Apple is a rip off, but I love the design, feel and ease of use, so will pay the price. But someone has developed the apps, it's intellectual property, and they aren't that expensive - why shouldn't they get some cash for them?
Tis is true I guess, but apple like to rip people off for apps and Instead of making it opensource they want to monopolize it which is why people like me refuse to pay their rip off prices Why pay for something if you can get it for free ?
