It could offer him the escape from the North East, which he may need if he angers anymore fans and we serve up another half arsed performance on Sunday

This could very well happen.....we have a lot of issues that he may want to run away from

West Ham will be left with a team who are more than capable of coming straight up so he could end up the hero there.......

or stay here where he needs to squeeze cash of ES to try and buy 9 players, sort out the loanees, and he NEEDS to come up with a resolution as to why we are plagues with injury every season......

depends whether his character holds out or he buckles under the pressure and takes the easy way out.....

If so, then i think it would be Martin O'Neill, if Blackpool go down we could get Holloway (that would be mental)...or even a straight swap with Grant!!

Really don't know who i would want to fill his shoes

I actually think that changing manager now would not really affect our players or the club, everyone in football always bangs on about "Continuity" and uses Fergie, Wenger & Moyes as examples, however with so many injuries and loanees leaving etc we are already severely disrupted so getting a new man in and letting him sign his own players wouldnt cause too much damage to the club as a whole in my opinion.

Ellis will probably be thinking the same thing, wether to give Bruce the cash or give it to a new man whoever that may be. Only problem is Bruce will walk away with a fat pay cheque for failure. Either way I will still support the manager next season.

MoN is already being mentioned in some of the press..

QPR boss Neil Warnock is the early favourite to succeed Grant even though he has just won promotion.

Former Newcastle boss Chris Hughton, a former Hammers defender, has also been linked with the club along with Hull chief Nigel Pearson

Had my hopes up there!! <ok>

I reckon Hughton will be in line for this role and those saying West Ham are positioned to bounce straight back up, I'm not too sure, they have one of the highest wage bills in the prem and stand to lose all of their 'top' players.

Got a very good friend who's a Hammer - he's seriously worried about them - thinks they could even have another relegation on their hands. Mind, a lot thought that about the Mugs, and they proved them wrong.
