The really ridiculous thing is when someone has an obviously very minor knock right on the edge of the pitch and we all have to wait for his treatment when he could easily just move 1 yard off the pitch and we carry on. ****ing farcical when that happens and it's far too often. They should just say you have to stay off for 2 minutes or something if you happen to have a 'head injury' which requires the game to be stopped towards the end of a game.

I'm not disagreeing with you but why does it have to be Rooney and Terry? People are far too quick to criticise the top English players seemingly just because they're the top English players. There are far worse examples of players who do this. I'd have said Suarez, Grant Holt, and probably loads of others I can't think of right now.

Referees will start to get respect as soon as they earn it. At present their attitudes don't earn it and not enough is done to help them interpret the rules of the game properly (I honestly believe most people in football don't even know what the rules are in many situations). Those in charge of referees should be planning new initiatives all the time to combat the various problems we have in football and make these rules common knowledge. Instead we get people sent off in one match whereas someone in another game gets away with the same tackle and no one even knows which one was right.

I chose Rooney because he's the worst offender by a country mile.

Don't even try to defend the ****ing half witted, bald headed, ugly, overrated, flat track bully ****.

Terry was just a name I plucked from thin air but he's also a ****

On the subject of Refs, I think they should be made alot more accountable for their decisions, Ok they have a very hard Job, Having to make split second decisions, in front of often hostile crowds and even more hostile players. IMO refs should do interviews post match and explain certain decisions. That said I quite like the idea of sending players off for using bad langauge towards ref, It'd help improve the games image, and Hopefully make the game move quicker. Personally I'd never ref a football match, If a load of jumped up little pricks started swearing at me I'd have to do something, Whereas Refs are expected to put up with it.

They should review a game afterwards and issue a 1 game ban for any player swearing. Today Milner gave a load of abuse at not getting a corner when the replay showed he wouldn't have a clue who touched the ball last.

I'm all for players being having a sense of pride and passion but they go over the top and it's another aspect of a modern day footballer that many of us despise
