Well done all you optimists - more power to your elbow. Me? I'll leave the predicting thanks - it, as they say, 'does my head in!
Bound to get different results But The maths is still there is it not ? Therefore prior to the Swansea game all predictions are live It therefore remains straightforward Its how you look at things
I didn't update the table until the end, and when I clicked update I was amazed to see that we weren't relegated. I was quite ungenerous with our results too. I also gave our rivals some positive curve ball results too. So I wasn't over biased. Of course no one can really predict anything as mentioned elsewhere on here, but it was amazing to see us in 15th place.
All my hope is about getting our talented midfielders into a goal scoring habit. If we can do that asap, we'll become the force everyone knows we should be. If not we're gone. Having said that, I fully support RTID's placebo. Anything that helps, even temporarily can only be a good thing.
Cheers FT, I had you finishing 16th on 34pts. But what do I know? In reality you should finish in the 10-14 bracket with 45 odd points.
Someone's got to break the jinx Ninesy. Fancy it'll be big Chris with a power header on the blind side. Almost thinking we should stick him up front while Remy's out and trust the CB positions to Clint, Ned and Ben-Haim. Maybe Adel and the boy Andros will start competing for who can get the biggest tally! Ahh, just the thought of all that happening...
dont listen to me i backed rangers to beat norwich, did not know that remy was injured and predicted a 1-0 nil win, thanks adel, rangers have not hit there good patch, which reading have, norwich went on a great run, i think rangers will hit form in there last 8-9 matches
For one moment on Saturday I thought Harry had told Samba to stay up front. He only did so for one particular passage of play. He then reverted to his place in the back four. It reminded me of a time back at the start of the 82/83 season when Terry Venables played big Bob Hazell as the centre forward v Bristol City, I think. ( Maybe it was Rovers. ) It was our second or third game of the season during mid-week and he scored twice in a 4-0 or 4-2 victory.
wow! i did it pretty pessimistically and we were 17th with 32 points! very low tally for safety. had to treat myself to a fulham away win though ;-)
