Sammy Ameobi

Said it on Twitter and it got put up on the bbc football website, Sammy looked class as a bairn in the 5-a-side tournaments when he was a few years younger than us and still star player on our team and winning player of the tournament alongside the golden boot (some of the opposing sides were full of local club academy players anarl - N'castle, S'land, Boro, H'pool, Darlo etc).
My mate from school, Jirhe knows his family as there's a Nigerian church meeting every month or so that the Ameobi family go to. For one of his birthdays Shola signed a load of footies for us (he was due to play footie with us, but think with a match re-arranged ended up cancelling).

It's great to hear & see him progress, let's hope he builds on his potential and learns from his brother not to stall!

 

Shola just didn't wanna be shown up!

 

He seems like an all action player. Never stops (not like Shola) and has great skills with a good work rate.

Looks like he could put a bit of weight on though, his legs look like matchsticks.

 

Anyone else notice how much better Shola actually looked when he dropped a little deeper and played in an almost holding role.

Sholas sister Titi is a competitive sprinter in the British team. Or at least she was.
