what the **** was he doing giving that freekick away, you could see he was going to do something daft, a couple of seconds before he made the challenge he went running around like a bull in a china shop

certainly would not offer him a new contract

not fast enough, has injury problems, getting on now and he is not consistent enough

Mangane needs a go as soon as he is fit

I don't rate any of our CB's even O'Shea, all prone to the big error and all slower than an old woman with a zimmer frame

Mangane must be better than Bramble even if he is unfit..Bramble is just a liability!!!

    Calm,

    you're a briilliant poster mate.

But this evening you're not being, er, calm.

Bramble saved us from defeat on Tuesday with a brilliant last-ditch tackle.

Yes, he's limited, he's no ball-playing CD, but when injuries/suspensions kick in as they are now, I think he's fine as back-up.

    Just IMO.

Bramble is twice the player Cuellar is! Just remember that wonderful sliced own goal, or the 30 yard cross field ball right accross the penality box that led to an immediate goal for the opposition.

Although to be fair he is only 31 and obviously has 'a lot of potential'. Or it may be appropriate to say that Cuellar has 'a lot of potential potential' <laugh>

Bramble has good and bad days that is it yesterday was a bad day Tuesday was a good day, getting beat was always a possibility yesterday what with Readings run of late. Two gripes for me anyway why have we brought a player in who isn't fit Mangane (name)? and, why didn't we improve our CBs when it was screaming out to everyone we needed help there?

Bramble is our best centre back imo and makes less gaffs than Cuellar and Oshea. Oshea has cost us loads of goals this season.

We lose because we realy too much on Sess, we needed another 2 midfielders bringing in but that chance has gone till july 1st now. It is not just one player who plays bad half the team are most times, but to take Sess off could end his management here if he does it regually, and if he does take him off against Arsenal i iam leaving the stadium pronto and thousands more might.

Cuellar is one of the worst players I've seen in a Sunderland shirt.

You certainly have a short memory. Bramble played against West Ham the other week and had a brilliant game. It could be argued that he was the best player on the pitch for us that day, on a day that was our teams best performance all season.

You could easily blame N'Diaye for what was a shocking miss - on another day he may have had a cooler head but a big rush of blood - nothing to do with the tactics as, at the time Reading scored, there was only one team looked likely to win it (Even Merson said that on soccer Saturday and he ****ing hates us) - don;t think it was the tactics, think it was the fact that their keeper had a cracking game coupled with a bad finish! - Bramble has a turning circle wider than the QE2 although he has been decent for us at times that challenge giving away a needless free kick was stupidity! Not sure how good Mangane is but he'd get a shout for me with O'Shea - We need to try these things out and theres a reason we got him on a "try before you buy" basis - so try him

Thought cuellar was a good player for villa but he's been Gareth Hall standard for us. Bramble Kilgallen and Laing should be way ahead of him in the pecking order.

As we found out, Bramble can make a brilliant tacle and then pass straight to the oppo in front of an open goal!
