The only two to bother applauding the travelling fans at the end of the match today. I and many others around me were disgusted that the rest of the team just headed straight down the tunnel and didn't acknowledge us at all :(

I was pleased that Danny Graham got a good reception from the fans when he made his debut for us today and for the 10 minutes that we did see him playing alongside Fletch, it looked promising that there could be a good partnership develop between them in the near future.

He made an immediate impression did DG, good movement, busy, I think he'll do very well for us indeed.

    A positive from a ****ing ****e day.

Will MON give them time on the pitch together to form a partnership?

That's the major thing I'm wondering about tonight.

I hope so mate, because Sess up front with Fletch just doesn't work at all. We looked far more dangerous from the moment that Danny Graham took to the pitch and Sess went off.

I really thought that he would have played both together at Reading today and I am gutted to think we have spent £5m for another bench-warmer.

We may as well have just left the money in the bank and kept Frazier.

Feel very badly let down by MoN today with that formation against a relegation haunted team. Very let down indeed.

sess should be back in midfield as i have said all along, then Danny graham and fletcher can work together and stick by formtion all the time.

Big tactical **** up by MON today lads, DG should have started in a 4-4-2, we need to be picking up points against teams like Reading (no disrespect) not going all negative and hoping not to get beat.

This. We were noticably better when Danny Graham came on and we had a genuine 4-4-2 formation with round pegs in round holes!

Im pleased to see Danny get a great reception from the fans...well done.<ok> Ok he was only on for 10 minutes but he looked good and nearly scored maybe one or two goals. In hind sight its a pity he never started the match as i think he will team up with fletch a treat....martin has to start him next game and give him a full 90 minutes and im sure he will become a Sunderland favorite....good luck for the rest of the season..

DG (sorry missed the B off that) only came on because MON saw that we were struggling to hold them so decided to defend from the front and, not attack them, bad tactics from MON. Thought he did okay for his 15 minute run out and, if it wasn't for yet another late Reading goal (does anyone at SAFC actually scout the opposition before we play them?) it would have been a decent introduction for the lad.

Dai: Is this the same Danny Graham you've been criticising all season, telling us he's a "Championship player at best"? <laugh>

Cest, I like you, I really do but if you really thought that then you have delusions of granduer.

"Those with delusions of granduer are characterized by fantastical beliefs that one is famous, omnipotent, wealthy, or otherwise very powerful."

I've read Cest's post a few times to make sure and I simply cannot see how you infer he has delusions of granduer from it.

I think Bill was implying that to believe MON is going to play two up top is deluded.

That's how I understood it anyway.

That's the way it was intended, not sure how much clearer I could be actually.

Wasn't having a pop Billy I was honestly confused by "delusions of granduer" as I thought that's what you meant.
