With Alex MacDonald going to Burton Albion there is a chance that sods law will take over, meaning that he will score against us on Sat 13th April, when we go to Burton's ground.
Aye and the headlines will read...Gone for a Burton!...need wins desperately as we could be 6 pts adrift if the 2 teams below us play their games in hand soon.
Rovers 2-1.....zoomed up to 19th.....I think Mr Ward will keep them climbing.....not a good sign for us.
Not bothered about MacDonald signing elsewhere but am concerned with other teams around us. This is going to be worse than last term and my gut says it won't end well either.
Hi folks long weekend over here so back at home with computer access instead of just looking in on the phone. Next week we should get electric and hopefully internet in the new factory so u will be hearing from me more.... good news/bad news as you see fit So we have the new guy in and in fairness points so far pretty good 1.8 points per game, if we can keep that up should be OK although we have to see how we travel.... As for the transfer window even more under whelmed than I expected Lennox released and Vassel retained?, Williams gone(was he really the weakest link) Griffiths gamble didn,t work out but personally I would still have kept him on and tried him with some support upfront. Murray over Macca? As for Moseley when we become a feeder club for Excretia then it becomes obvious how low we have sunk. Only bonus I can see is Pickle for Purse and that is like for like but cheaper. Feedback from my son today is slightly less suicidal than the last game!!!!!! (Which in his opinion was the worst he had seen us play since before he as born) Feedback is Charles looks a tidy player, we are not shipping silly goals, which is a plus, but still looks like we could not score if we had Brad Pitt with a a handful of pardons in a womens prison and that is my main worry. Still we managed to hold on to Chadwick, despite all the interest, coming back from his unjustifed ban and Feeney, who is the new bosses kind of forward, should soon be fit so the goals will soon be flowing. Unless there are some serious loanies lined up ( Messi, Ronaldo, Rooney and Balloteli for the laughs) then the real question is not who will be retaining their season tickets in the Conference but will our Chairman provide enough backing for a pro-team or will we be semi pro? Trying to keep the green tinged glasses on but they have slipped as far down my nose as I can ever remember and it doesn,t help that I have a long held contempt for our new manager, from when he was a player, but hoping he can turn it around. Sensible I hope your wrong but my gut says the same. Changing the manager when we did was beyond stupid, should have been done 6 weeks earlier, or not at all.
