Sorry for your loss mate , RIP . i always miss not being able to chat with me old man about the last city match
Many condolences, I lost my father under a year ago too & just as Whittling Stick has said above, I miss talking about City with him.. The match after he died, City won 3-0 at Cardiff, I reached for my phone to text him & it just hit me.. look after your family, cherish the best memories, think of all the good times.. and be strong. take care.
Condolences Amber...I know how hard it is, but the pain will ease as the memories take over and become a comfort. Good wishes to you and family Lincolntiger
Upset me, reading about your Dad. I hope all your family are their for each other during this sad time. My sincere best wishes to you mate. RIP
My Mum's in Leicester Royal, pneumonia following another seizure or stroke. If she gets through the next 2 days she has a chance but she's fighting against the odds. Hard times mate, you can rationalise all you like about the cycle of life but the loss of someone close hurts at soul level. Be kind to yourself and allow those emotions, bugger the stiff upper lip stuff.
Condolences from a Leeds fan. I lost mine in 2010 and it's not easy mate. Look after yourself and your family over the next few hard months. RIP.
My condolences - I lost mine in October 2010 - I know nothing anyone can say will ever heal the pain but it does get easier in time. RIP.
The death of a loved parent is always really hard - with time the memories that remain are mostly the happy ones but the element of sadness lurks just below the surface for a long time. Life does go on and things do get better pretty quickly so "chin up" Amber. Best wishes to you and all of your family. Just finished writing this and Cat Stevens "Father and Son" came on the radio - how apt!
Condolences to you and your family, try and just remember the good times and how fortunate you were to have been part of his life.
