When has David Beckham ever said who he gives to or how much he gives? Answer: never. This info has obviously come from his agent or the charity - not him. The fact is other people will now donate to this charity purely because he has.It's a sad day when a man involved in a profession that is constantly maligned for the excesses of so many of its actors makes a gesutre as grand as this and people criticise him. Presumably the likes of King Shergar think he should have gone and bought a Bentley and 240 bottles of Champagne. I do find the whole team Beckham thing a bit annoying but to criticise his charity work is pathetic beyond belief.
