True. I liked Danny but something has gone on behind the scenes. Whether it's the fact that he couldn't handle dropping down the pecking order and has taken to clubbing because he's unhappy or whether it's a general desire to move back up north we'll never know. He's been decent for us but we can do better.

As for the Mackems, that post above isn't unusual for them. 'Tit for tat'? I've not seen anything that bad from any of our posters on their board though I haven't been there for a couple of days. Worst fans towards us last season apart from QPR and it's the same this season.

Personally I think DG is mad to go and play for them. Unimaginitive, old style manager playing old style football, a team that is likely to finish below us with no Cup Final or possibly Europe to look forward to. He's also got to try and win over hostile fans, many of whom are probably waiting to pounce on him the second he misses a sitter, and let's be honest he's missed loads of those in his time.

Good luck to Danny but he really needs to see a psychiatrist.

Even if Graham doesn't perform for them, at least the local pubs and clubs will benefit.

We received economic development funds to ship him up there to help revive the downtown bar scene.

He either had off-field professional issues, didn't like his pay being cut by sitting on the bench under our bonus scheme, or had personal reasons. If the latter I hope he sorts them out. If the former - then don't really care. What we do know is that he couldn't wait to move on to a "massive club" that happens to be declining under its own weight. He didn't want to be part of success but preferred to be part of demise - no patience for that line of thinking.

Don't be bitter. We don't claim to be "massive" but maybe a little bit more "massive" than Swansea.
We claim to be a mid table premiership side for the past five years, rebuilding yet again under another manager.
As for "declining under it's own weight" your talking utter bollox.

"Massive" was the term used twice by DG - I was discussing his state of mind. Not bitter at all, just calling it like it is. He walked away from a cup final, probable cup final medal, and Europa football. I think your team's performance last Tuesday speaks for itself.

Guess you guys have never played a bad game then?

For all the insults you have shouted about us, you are still to beat us in the premier league <ok>

I don't like Pardew but he actually said Graham wasn't at the same level as Remy. The headline is misleading. In any event, he's wrong. Remy's stats aren't that great and despite scoring on his debut he's untested at this level.

As for the Mackems, I think you'll find that much of our annoyance has resulted from insults on their board, ranging from anti-Welsh bile to a reluctance to accept that we played all the football. It's almost as if they think they have a divine right to beat little old Swansea. How dare we play so well at the Stadium of ****e?

Only QPR fans have this attitude, and it's not very endearing.

I was one of Danny's most ardent admirers,so I am sad to see him go.
It's a bit of a mystery as to what actually transpired over recent months, but, hey,he's chosen new pastures,so we move on. Clearly,he likes a challenge.

KJ don't take it to heart.

Its the footy equivalent of "tiny dick" or "short guy" syndrome.

Both live in the shadow of far bigger, more successful clubs and this highlights their own inadequacies. For the mackems its Newcastle or Middlesborough, QPR its every other premiership club based in London.

    Anyway to mackems and QPRoiders
WE ARE JACKS WE ARE SWANS WE ARE WALES WE DON'T CARE <ok>

The post left by Cestria O'Neill clearly shows signs of mental decay, and if,as someone has suggested, D.G. goes to see a psychiatrist, he should take this guy with him.

A certain trainer at the club has mentioned that Danny G had white line fever ....and he didn't mean the markings on the pitch. If so, and theres no reason to doubt a Swansea stalwart, we are well shot of the guy.

Danny has done well for us - rumours of him on Wind street... well I saw him Caulker and Routs heading over there last season after beating Man City. Kind of felt they deserved a celebration.

He's done a good job for us - he has his flaws but the way the board has fretted over him leaving is an indication that he does bring soemthing to the team. He kind of clashed with Michu - but I think could have been given more of a chance. When he did he didn't really let us down and came across as professional when he was clearly not happy.

I wish him well - no reason not to. He might like it alongside Fletcher - he is good at working the wide areas as well so might compliment Fletcher by switching to how he played at Watford.

Good luck to him, I say. He did a huge shift for us last season.
