HR - We made some fantastic signings yesterday. I was just disappointed the way the Peter Odemwingie situation went. #QPR

HR - We lost Ryan Nelsen this week so we had to get a replacement. The chairman did a fantastic job to get Chris Samba. #QPR

HR - It's a big game for us tomorrow. We've been in good form and got a great point against Man City. #QPR

HR - We'll have a look at the new signings. Hopefully one or two can play tomorrow. #QPR

HR - Andros Townsend has a big future and Jermaine Jenas has great experience. It shouldn't be a problem for them to come in. #QPR

HR - Chris Samba was a complete surprise to me. He's a player I've admired for a long time. #QPR

HR - We've got a big chance [of survival]. We've been on a fantastic run, we've got to up that now and win one or two more. #QPR

HR - I'm delighted with the players I've managed to bring in. I'm pleased with what we've got now. #QPR

HR - The last thing I wanted to do was be in the office last night. It's a nonsense how everything goes down to the last day. #QPR

HR - Samba is a great centre-half, he's got everything. He's a leader. To bring Chris Samba here is fantastic for us. #QPR

HR - Jenas is in the squad, we'll have a look at him this morning. #QPR

HR - We've given ourselves a chance, we're only four points adrift. It's going to be hard but I still believe we can stay up. #QPR

HR - We've got one or two little knocks. We're hoping Jamie Mackie is ok but Junior Hoilett is not quite fit. #QPR

HR - It's up to the players to prove their worth. If we weren't in the position we're in we wouldn't need to bring anyone in. #QPR

I thought I heard him say one of our players refused to go to WBA on loan in a swap deal with PO?

Not sure if Jenas and Townsend would appreciate Harry revealing their wages to all and sundry....twice!

So what are we paying them?

 

£25k per week combined and one of them is only £3-4k per week. You'll have to guess which one.

 

Cheers mate. Would guess Townsend on the lower figure as he's a loan and Spuds are paying a chunk of his salary. Did we pay a transfer fee for Jenas?

 

Jenas is on an 18 month loan I think.

 

Jenas is 18 month permanent deal. We already have 2 domestic loans in Fabio and Townsend, so jeans had to be permanent.

 

Good point. But I can't find a transfer fee mentioned anywhere. Maybe a free then.

 

Seemed that Levy was making us buying Jenas and Bentley a condition of getting Townsend on loan. Harold told him to stuff it, but obviously things moved on.
No doubt Jenas has talent but no consistency. Squad player, lets hope he surprises us.

 

Plus Harry said there was no lone fee involved for Townsend. Good business

Maybe Jenas was "the lone fee".
