OK ................. we have new players in, along with our current squad. Who do we pick for the starting 11 and who would be on the bench?
For me at home vs Norwich Cesar onuha , smaba , hill , traore Mackie , derry , mbia, Tarbs Zamora, Remy subs Green , Fabio, Granero, SWP, Suk young, Betty , Hoillet. obviously depending on fitness ,
Fabio plays for me ahead of traore. I reckon Harry will be looking to bring in Townsend on the right. Zamora does not have 90 mins in him yet apparently which means you could maybe push Mackie upfront or perhaps to the other flank and play Adel off Remy?
-------------Cesar-------------- Onuoha----Samba--Hill----Fabio ---------Mbia---Granero-------- Mackie-------Adel----Townsend -------------Remy-------------
I am sure that these players have been brought in to play in formations against our remaining fixtures. Of course we need 3 points against Norwich The intent has to change now as all players i am sure will know they have to hit the ground running. I fully expect a lift but this is football anything can happen: I have no idea how Harold will play this
Can't make many changes too soon with just one training session behind them. Don't know how many of the newcomers are 100% and ready to jump straight in.
Yes, would like to know where we are at with this player ................... is he match fit? Also, as some have mention, Samba may not be as fit as required, so ................. do we play him in the first half or bring him on at half time to sure up the defence?
Samba has siad that he is not fully fit, would be surprised to see him play the full 90 mins, might not make the side at all tomorrow.
Same quandary as myself, a lot of potential options. We need to win and we know he likes Bobby so will he start him, will he put two up front, I doubt it. 2 up front would mean changing to 4-4-2 which also means moving Adel from what has shown to be his best position and also the players have started to get used to a system completely changing it may be risky. So that leaves us with playing one up front, if he is accommodating Remy and bobby, perhaps moving Remy out to the right. As Bobby will brought in for defensive duties for set pieces Remy would still be the front man for breaks where his pace would be better suited. Remy has played here before and should supply bobby with crosses and get to the byline which we very lacking in. Left side hmm could play Traore there who can cross or SWP (Still not for me despite his improvements) or Townsend (can he play on the Left ?) I’m staying out of this one as my thought on the midfield are even more rambling, let alone the defence. tThis time I’ll let harry sort it out as well.
It looks very much to me that we are building a fast break away team. We seem to have learnt how to soak We now look to have a threat from set plays Speed of the counter attack is shouting at me
