Talking bout ssn, I hate to say it but I have always respected niall quinn even with his sunderland connection
He just seems genuine and was keen on putting north east football back on the map

I'd slap Simon Jordan WITH Arry (swinging him like a wet fish).

And yeah good point re Niall Quinn, he always sounds like a decent guy to me.

Got to respect Quinn for being what seems to be a respectable upstanding guy.

Aye but I've heard him on a few occasions on sky refer to us with gross disrespect ...

He should do politics, he could move his policies about like playing cards ...

I didn't think he was particularly respectful to Mick McCarthy on SSN tonight to be fair.

Seemed to take an unnecessary and uncharacteristic swipe at him when talking about the time he appointed Roy Keane and signed 6 players on the window's final day. Club was in disarray etc, etc.

Something about replacing an absolutely terrible manager who used to manage Ireland, which the presenters audibly gaffawed at in embarrassment.

He might have grounds for a point but it isn't particularly classy, especially if you consider the success of Keane's tenure.

Perhaps he was playing up to Simon Jordan, for whatever reason someone would want to?

This for me. I'd like nothing better than to smash their heads together.

I had to have a laugh at Quinny. Mr Fecking Sit on the Fence. What a boring bastardo he is. Did anyone else get the impression he'll be feeling Daniel Levy pain for the rest of his days! <laugh>
