The lad has spoken very well, honestly and although none of the interviews mentioned the reception he received form certain parts of the crowd on Tuesday, he must know he has a bit of a fight to convince his doubters. I dont doubt his ability but still question that b&w interview and the comments he made about our club. However, he seems genuinely happy to be here, is saying all the right things but I guess the proof will come on a Saturday afternoon. I wish him well.

I don't believe we were in for him. Certainly never tabled a bid. His agents might of spoke to our club about a move but we never held any serious interest in him. He doenst fall inder our transfer guidelines. I would of taken him mind.

In all seriousness though after the reception he got, to still come up and sign, shows his commitment to the club. He looks determined to do well and shows hes got bottle as well when the going gets tough. He's got my respect already, good on him
Who is to say that you wouldn't have been granted permission to talk to him before a fee had been agreed though? etc.
