... do they think that we give a tuppney toss about Balotelli and Beckham? There are millions of fans wanting to know about the ins and outs at their own club and others in the UK and yesterday they went overboard on Balotelli leaving the country for Italy ... and today it's Beckham joining a French club. I'd rather hear about someone going from Torquay to Wycombe or from Wigan to Chesterfield than blanket coverage of a Man City failure and a old hasbeen.
Was hoping for a bit more from today. Samba great but will be well annoyed if we end up with Jenas and swap Hoillett for Odemwhingy.
Beckham is a big media whore. He choose today (being a free agent) because of the media coverage. All that rubbish about his wages going to a kids hospital is pure PR. His wages maybe but what about all the rights and everthing else?
Yeah but you can't fault the bloke for paying his salary to a charity, not many footballers around that would do that.
No fair play to him but the money he will earn in other areas will eclipse his wages. I don't want to deate about charity or Beckham because i know he has done good stuff for kids.
My friend used to live opposite him in Sawbridgeworth, he would always stop at the end of his drive to chat & have photos taken. Walking home from the pub one afternoon we saw him stop in the pouring rain to give an old fella a lift home. Not much between the ears but a very good human being. Can't be faulted in my eyes.
Sorry but im with Ellers here....announcing it himself live to the world tells me all I need to know about that deal.....he has effectively bought some great press, while not affecting his yearly income that runs into the millions 1 little bit!
Agreed ,no need for it to repeat every ten mins and the reporter who normally stands outside spurs has gone to milan to report pointless.good ridance balotelli, now were left with some newbie goon outside loftus road with no charisma. (rather have the totty outside inbred road) Roll up jim & natalie
