Chief Executive of Hull City Nick Thompson says that No Bids for SEB have been made. Just been on sportstalk Live.
i liked the way he said, we have been made aware philllps is available to be loaned...hope hes plan b..
To be honest I trust the guy. On the other hand, we've kept our cards very close to our chest this window... so anything can happen. Odds SSN will be linking us with SEB within the next hour.
SSN just announced Philips on his way to Palace. Maybe Holloway's limo picked up Campbell from his hotel in Hull & dropped him off on the way, also just announcing DJ Blackburn.
People say this all the time, every time we get a new manager they're always seen to be wiser than previous ones in terms of keeping transfers quiet. But for once it's actually true in this window.
Steve Bruce wont have just pinned hopes on the names mentioned. I wonder IF we are going after FAT Louis Saha who has left Sunderland now. On a 6 month pay as you play deal he would be the best of the lot. imo
Given how little he plays FAT probably doesn't need to be capitalised. SEB can score a first half hat-trick, get subbed by Wolves, then drive up the motorway to Hull to sign for us. That's obviously the plan.
One thing is for sure, this has been the most interesting window for a long time and it ain't finished yet!
I think that we will probably wait until the Emergency Loan Window, I may be wrong, I have been on so many occasions as my Mother-in-law likes to tells me .
If we wait for the emergency loan window though the player will miss 2 games between now and the end of the season that they don't need to if we do the deal now (Saturday's game, and either the one on the 16th March or if we need it the playoff final). On top of that, we could lose the player any time after 28 days if his parent club want to recall him. If he joins on an end of season loan today then he can't be recalled after 11pm tonight.
