Just been browsing Twitter and there seems to be a debate going on with McNasty about away fans getting tickets in the home stands. There are now signs all around the ground saying home fans only, but season tickets are still changing hands for certain games. What are your views on this? Do you mind having away fans sitting next to you?
We're loads of them in the Jarrold last night they can be there but they need to behave , we got 3 ejected and 2 others just crept out after the stick they got for acting like planks when they scored The stewards were rubbish it took them ages to get them out
I had this at Col U in our league 1 season. My dad (a col u supporter) came to the home game with me at CR and we got whipped as we all know and there were no problems, just friendly banter. We then went to the away game at Colchester and I had some scumbag who was effing and blinding in front of his young kids aged 5-9 trying to grass me up to the stewards and get me chucked out! We actually had words after the game where I offered him a bit of advice on not swearing in front of his kids.
It would be hypocritical for me to complain. So hard to get tickets for home games that I have on one occasion a mate who is a West Sham fan got me a ticket so I went to Carrow Road with the away fans - surreal experience. Often get to Norwich away games by sitting with home fans - most recently at the cup tie at Posh
There's a culture of season ticket holders lending their ticket to a glory hunting mate so he can watch his one game ever. Some fans need to show a bit of pride and come and watch the game themselves!
I remember my father in law going to Wolves in the home section a few years ago, and telling me he had to sit on his hands for the whole game.
