Every tie is a hard tie, especially away from home. But considering we demolished Cheltenham away and beat Bolton away, we are more than capable of beating Oldham away which would put us in the quarter finals.

However United, City, Chelsea and Arsenal could all well be in the quarter finals too.

What do we think? performances need to pick up again but I think we have as good a chance as any.

I hope you win it, the blues fans, manager and owner have been fantastic in the JFT96 campaign and in making 'he aint heavy' number 1.

    So COYB.<ok>

Without appearing to be disrespectful to Oldham, you'd have to fancy us to be in the draw for the last 8.

You'd also have to fancy both the Manc clubs, Arsenal & Chelsea to in the hat as well.

So for me, I think we'd have to hope that they drew each other & we missed them in the QF draw.

Once you're in the SF, anything can happen.

Agreed, and lightning doesn't strike twice. Can't see Moyes playing two lightweights in midfield, and Distan and Jagielka won't be bullied like Coates was. Nonetheless, no bitterness towards Oldham - total respect infact. Expect everton to win 1-4, or at worst a replay (but can't see that happening). Get a home draw for the quarters, through to the semis and anything can happen.

And good luck to you, as now we have no distractions apart from the Uefa we'll be focussing on that eighth spot; or even pushing the boat out for SEVENTH! :emoticon-0104-surpr

The fact that they've lost 7 & drawn 1 of their last 8 league games in League 1, would suggest that they're pretty ****e mate <laugh>

A great perfomance from them yesterday though, massively against the odds, but helped by some awful defending & a keeper who's career has been largely on the bench for a reason.

The master of spin will have 7th & no European football next season as some form of achievement, either that or it'll be someone else's fault like.....

I think a fully fit Everton team could beat any of those in a cup game at Goodison.

Seems like there's been a lot if shocks yet Chelsea, United, City and Arsenal are still involved. Hopefully Benitez carries on him Stamford bridge magic against Brentford.

Why not? You have the ability to go and do it. However (and this is not a dig), don't fall between 2 stools.

You should get to Wembley. WTF are Wigan doing with a good cup run when they have a relegation battle to fight?

You could say the same about Oldham and Barnsley!

How do Wigan play their reserve side and still win 4-1?
