Underwhelmed is an understatement for the way I am feeling, I have nothing against his roots and no doubt he would give his all for Sunderland but the fact is we are signing Swansea City bench warmers and average ones at that.

The fact remains as things stand we have paid £5.5 million for someone to sit on the bench.

His goalscoring record tells me he is far better than that, so I for one would be quite happy to see him come here..

Saying fee agreed aswell. Even if the deal was on for us the reaction on Tuesday must surely have made him and our decsion makers think twice about bringing him here.

Certainly woun't have helped, and if that turns out to be a factor in scuppering a deal that MON had set his sights on, I can imagine he wouldn't be best pleased..

The rumours about DG coming to us have been circulating for weeks now.
If there was any truth to them , I'd like to think that he would have already been signed.

I find this all totally laughable.

He slags us off in a published magazine but we should just take it on the chin.

We (some not all) boo him on Tuesday and its put him off coming now?

What did he expect? A ****ing red carpet? It's incumbent on him to do the wooing not us.

**** me the worlds turned upside down. I am at the point where I just don't give a **** about this anymore. LOl
