Well the final day of the window is upon us. IN: D.J.Campbell (if we can sort out his personal demands) and the 2 Egyptians (subject to work permits). Hopefully all three will be available for Saturday. Elmo - doubtful as MON seems to be playing silly buggers. Burnsy - seems to indicate possible others........who? (SEB - to expensive, Phillips - not in the running) OUT Hopefully no one we cherish, but all speculation seems muted. As Tickler would say TWT, but only 23 hours of time left....... and the clock is ticking.
Let's not forget the £3.5M worth of financial commitment that is Messrs. Brady & Meyler....................................PLUS Stockdale!
If it works out like it seems it might then I will feel than I will be glad to have been proven wrong over how this window was going to go for us.
I think that is just off football rumors. Have you seen it anywhere else? 29 Jan 2013 11:17:31 Reading will sign Robert Koren from Hull City for 1m if they fail to sign David Bentley or Tom Ince Never in a millon years never mind a million pound just exstended contract He's going no where! You think we would sell him for 1 million? You must be joking. At least 3.5 million no way we would sell for 1million Haha
I saw it here http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/swansea--reading-transfers-thomas-1563903
any predictions which home game will have the highest attendance from now until end of season, im guessing last game of the season v cardiff , sell out i hope
No way would we sell him for 750,000 like that article says. Seems unlikely we would let him go at all.
He had a release clause in his old contract, why would we think his new one doesn't also contain a release clause for if a club in a higher division bids a certain amount? I can't see it though, he's done bugger all recently so why would they be looking at him?
I wouldnt deny that would be a possibility but a 750,000 release clause would seem a little small. Unless we wanted that as an out if we had to agree to large wages with his new contract.
