    If this does happen surely Sir Mike has an ace card hidden somewhere in Spain that he wanted the money for Danny before he swoops in?? Otherwise we just have Michu and Itay

    I wouldn't mind saving the cash for the summer. It's not like we are in danger of relegation and michu can easily be used as forward rest of season.

    If he moves to middlesborough, then the family reasons must be true and fair play to him for being prepared to deop down the league. I hope to **** though that Emnes isnt coming the other way. We have moved on from him and he is not the sort of quality player we need.

    Gutted for us, lost a quality player. Surprised at Jenkins agreeing to 5.5 mill though and even more surprised he wants to leave now with a chance of a cup winners medal at best and to play in a cup final at wembley at worst. If its a championship team he is destined for, he could hang on for a few more months. Its not like they wouldnt bite our hands off at the end of the season for a proven Premiership and Championship goal scorer for that sort of money.
