Saints are a decent side and I don't feel they will be relegated, but I do feel we should be putting on a far better show at home against a side in there position in the table.

I feel we took them a little lightly, as if we have some sort of divine right to pick up 3 points against them.

The players need to realise that there are no easy 3 points these days, and if you get complacent with any side your likely to drop points. Tonight we got lucky to take all 3.

We are going to need to up our performance significantly if we are to pick up 3 points away at Fulham at the weekend. Fulham are one of those sides that are awful away from home, but are a completely different proposition at home

 

Ah, right. It was just Rooney had a bad game.

yes all players were a bit below bar ..but they did at least 70-80% of their job .. but Rooney was simply the worst .. no one said he is the only one to be blamed .. but can't name a worst player on the pitch in the 2nd half .. well aside from Jones when he moved to mid

FFS I cannot see why you are giving Rooney stick

Even playing at 50% he is worth his place and he bloody drives this team. The whole team did not play well yesterday but without Rooney 's goals United would have been much much worse off. So give it a rest
