Great signing for Palace that is. Everyone else seems to be coming through the window adding great strength in depth.
The last big January transfer we had was Matty Fryatt coming in, feels like ages ago. It'll probably end up being some underwhelming signing like Calvin Zola or that dick who plays for Cheltenham town. **** it, get Kev Ellison back in. At least he's on form.
Boyd's absolute ****e. I'd be more concerned if we signed him than if we didn't sign anyone. It would be a sign of absolute desperation and, regardless of what some would-be bridge jumpers think, things really aren't that bad
He's a lazy bastard and certainly not what we want or need. I maintain he's ****e, but each to their own
2012/13 6 goals 6 assists 2011/12 8 goals 12 assists 2010/11 17 goals 11 assists Quite decent impact with goals and assists for a **** player. Includes all competitions.
I've always thought the opposite to be honest diddy, similar player to koren, not as naturally talented but works like a cart horse and gets stuck in to make up for it. He's been all over the pitch whenever I've seen him play. Definitely not ****e but not what we need. I saw somewhere some prem clubs are in for jedinak, maybe he's going and Boyd is some sort of replacement? (yes I know Boyd is an attacking mid and jedinak is defensive)
I think by big transfer he means a proper game changing signing, we'd already had Bob and Dave on loan so it's just continuity. At least that's how I read it, he could well be going doo lally.
Yeah I was comparing what we had before that respective window. If anything, our squad has got worse because in this window we've lost Elmo and Aluko. But, there will no doubt be irons in the fire and I can't wait to see what Gedo can do!
Thank goodness. Another player who is not good enough for Hull City. Strange that Palace think he can improve them though. But Palace could be about to lose there capt Jedinak to DQPR for £2.5m soon.
Jedinkak and Boyd are different players. Really rate Jedinak, he'd improve every midfield in the league.
Boyd is good against mediocre defences, hence his goal scoring record when north of the border, as for bringing him here... no ta !,
