[SUB] A closer look at the South Korean defender⦠YUN SUK-YOUNG began his career with Chunnam Dragons in his native South Korea, coming through the clubâs youth system. The highly-rated left-back made his debut for the K-League side shortly after his 19th birthday in March 2009. Suk-Young made 20 appearances in his first term, in what was a 30-match campaign. K-League seasons typically run from March to November. In 2010 he made 16 appearances as the club reached the semi-final of the Korean FA Cup. A year later, Suk-Young featured on 19 occasions while last season was his most successful in terms of outings as he made 25 appearances. Internationally, Suk-Young represented South Korea at U17, U20 and U23 level before making his senior debut in October 2012 against Iran in a World Cup qualifier. The Suwon-born defender also featured in last yearâs Olympic Games, and played in South Koreaâs 1-1 draw against Team GB. Quick with and without the ball, the 22 year old is a threat going forward and is known for being able to handle the physical side of the game. Confident in possession, Suk-Young promises to be a valuable addition to the Râs squad.[/SUB]
I like signings like this. Shows the club is thinking outside the box. Young (also by name...), an international and probably won't cost a whole lot either. We need more players like this.
its how the offich did it while I mention the official site,, when I clicked on it the first thing that comes up is a picture of park with his hand on cisses arse is that why cisses wife walked out
"Suk-Young has been granted a work permit and will be eligible to play for the R’s once he obtains a visa." From the offish
Thats automatically confirmed once we won the appeal which I am shocked at. We must now be considered a big club by TPTB. Henrique never got a WP, this guy has already got one so the visa is a formality.
Apparently we only managed it when he agreed to marry Park Ji-Sung. Civil partnership wouldn't qualify.
Yeah. He's young, he's quick. This is his first real challenge in a foreign league, he'll be hungry to perform, just the kind of player Arry wanted, that we needed. He'll do well for us. And, he has Ji-Sung to teach him a few words of English, show him the English ways - and remember that JS Park is like a god, a legend in South Korea, so all this is looking great! A top signing.
