Well, Arsenal are out of the hunt. Barca have told them he is not for sale (BBC). That doesn't rule out a loan move somewhere and it would be nice if that "somewhere" was the Liberty. I don't think so but it's nice to dream.

Also, it's been reported in the northern press that Curtis Obeng is going on a month's loan to York City. Strange that we haven't heard much of Obeng. I had high hopes of him becoming another Taylor at full back, particularly given that he was reputed to be the quickest player at the club, speed being a valuable asset in a defender.

Let's hope that a few competitive games will bring him up to speed. If he does succeed with us, we will have an embarrassment of riches at full back.

Rubber I had you down as a "Family Man" but please "Save Me" from these "Little Lies". "I Am So Afraid" there is more chance of Mick Fleetwood and Sam Fox having a reunion than Kaka joining us which would be very much in our "Dreams"
