Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has revealed that the club are interested in snapping up Stoke City striker Peter Crouch and Anzhi Makhachkala defender Christopher Samba.

The West London outfit have been linked with a host of names in the January window and while Redknapp has insisted that Crouch and Samba are on the list, he has admitted that signing them both is unlikely.

"These are two players whose names have been mentioned but at the moment we're not close to doing anything," Redknapp told BBC Sport. "Crouch's name came up in a meeting with the chairman but I don't think Stoke want to sell him.

"On Samba, again the chairman is dealing with this. At this stage I don't think that's a goer. I like Christopher Samba and he is a very good player but at this stage I don't see him leaving Russia. Things can changes but at this stage we're not close to doing anything."

The struggling Premier League outfit have acquired Loic Remy from Marseille so far this month.

Both would give 100% effort but I can't see this happening.
If Crouch did come I would assume he would stay if relegated.
