Why? Is it on the cards? I actually liked the old 606 but most people seem to prefer this format. Whatever the case it'll probably be the same faces. I'm not sure so I voted 'Maybe'. Sorry for fudging it.
I seem to remember that on 606 you had to complain to a BBC mod of anyone caused disruption and that it could take some time to get resolved. Also there was no such thing as being banned from a specific board, someone correct me if I'm wrong please. Now just for those reasons alone I wouldn't go back because the likes of Hughs would be a major disruption. He would ruin every thread, something I seem to remember him doing
your wrong Dilli, there was no such thing as being banned from other clubs board, also there's a lot of wums on ja606.
In someways I miss it to be honest, you could find just about every team represented there, it was good for that, plus the match threads were good on there, shame Mick hasn't sorted that out on here. But then the other side was pricks like Hughs posting his ****e everywhere, and of course the curfew every night like you were kids , what ****e
Matth, you do realise you agreed with me there and said I was wrong at the same time Yes, I seem to remember that you couldn't get a ban just from one board and you confirmed that too. I'd forgotten about that bloody curfew too Jäger, Hughs would just run riot again given half a chance. At least he can't do that on here
I would. People argue constantly with the mods etc over here because of the decisions they make. At least there everyone had a common enemy in the mods or wums rather than have it split the board. Wums or not, that board was more about cross board match threads, debates on the games and general opinions from other fans and our own. This board is more about point scoring between fans of their own clubs. Not that I won't still keep coming on here mind, it's the best out of what's there. But not nearly as good as the old bbc in my opinion
Actually i found the old 606 much better and would love it to return,There you were able to manage your own content and delete the wums that spoilt your thread,That was much easier and much better for keeping continuity. The other good thing was the MOD system was faceless, meaning that There was no personal agenda to pursue for people being modded, this sometimes carries over on our board for ages. One thing i didnt like was the cut off point. 1130pm i Think , that was far too early but i see the Logic as we have all posted total ****e when drink late at night! Far less personal issues on the old 606 and control of your own content Made kt far better for me .
I used to enjoy having a chat sometimes with opposition fans (like Aber) but I didn't like thread after thread being disrupted
tbh i dont read anything that comes from the media>>>>>>>tiz all bollocks 2 me............the amazon rainforest has been sold out on a major level with tribes being downtrodden and evicted without a care in the world, and what does the papers do>>>>>>show a new david beckham hairstyle>>>>>>>>>>>so media and me ur having a laugh why waste your time on the fkrs is my question
This may sound geeky... meh, I am partly a geek in this respect... but I want to check on the Playstation forums because I had a problem with GT5, and while there I saw this: http://community.eu.playstation.com.../OPC-Magazine-Edition-3/m-p/17280258#M1992110 The community themselves are creating their own Magazine and it looks really good (professional). It would likely be much harder for football fans to do the same thing, but I don't think we get any good information and news unless the fans themselves created their magazine and had support from the clubs if we came asking questions to put it. It is a sign of the times, the media these days is rubbish.
I'm with you Norway, prefer the old BBC 606. I think the site used to open about 9am and close at 11pm,so posters had to focus their attention more than on here. Unfortunately,it used to close down over some holiday periods, and life came to a virtual standstill until it reopened. One of the MAJOR attractions of BBC was that aber, and his ilk, were only around for about half a day,now we can't get rid of him,he's around 24/7. ...
