Well what do fans think.....Me i think he is going to find it difficult and will be second choice back up...
mmmmm thats a hard one.......im thinking ben(dont know his surname) could be used more in the bale type role mind
Agree Dai, if BD continues to improve this half of the season then I think he could well displace NT as the 1st choice left back. However way look at it, what a great selection dilemma for ML next season
Interesting question, I'm not 100% sure to be honest, but if we do win the cup and qualify for Europe there sure is going to be enough games next season for them both to prove they can do it.
Agreed, Jager. If he returns from injury before the season is over, I think he will have problems retaking his place. I don't think it's fair to Ben to put him on the bench with his resent displays. Next season there will be at least to cups and the league. With the possibility of Europa League there will be enough games for both of them...
It's great that we have such quality in depth, the problem is clubs were sniffing around Neil last year and to keep players who know their good enough to play regular will be difficult to keep .Stick with Ben ,his improvement has been astonishing this season and keep Neil until next season when we know who will be going and staying
If Ben dont make the selection for young player of the season in the premiership then something is not right. He may not win it but he must surly be in the frame........and stop calling me Shirley....
Will Taylor be the same player when he gets back? He has had a serious injury. One of his key attributes was his pace, so he is likely to have lost a yard or two.He may have to change the way he plays.
Wasn't that quote from Airplane? And I agree, I loved all the naked Gun movies. Nielsen was absolutely superb.
Isn't it great the we have 2 Welsh Left back's that have proved themselves at the top. It's a tricky one. Ben has been brilliant and hasn't let being thrown in at the deep end get to him. Once Taylor returns, it's going to be a hard decision for Michael, a decision I wouldn't like to make. As Jager pointed out though, should we qualify for Europe next year, there will e plenty of games for both of them.
I do believe that Leslie Nielsens mother was from Swansea. He came to the City some years ago seeking family members.
Was it? I haven't seen any of them for years so you're probably right. I need to make some time to revisit The naked gun and Airplane. Classics the lot of them
