Is there any other category we can be at the top of. Great for us and Tremmel.

Tremmel turned out to be a real beaut. Who would have thought it? We are indeed blessed with two fine 'keepers.

dorus is wasted at wolves and for a few more quid he has ruined his career and ironically if he had stayed he would probably be on more than he is on with wolves.....Im glad anyway as we would not have got vorm and tremmel if he had stayed....

I remember when Tremmel had one appearance last season and had a howler (Stoke away?). All and sundry wanted him out. My son was a keeper when he was a kid and had a succesful Welsh trial, so I did say at the time you can't judge a keeper on one game. I can't think of one that's never had a mare at some time or other. His pedigree is excellent, he clearly cares about the team and has bided his time without whingeing.

But Vorm is the better keeper I don't care what the stats say. He has been injured, remember. Tremmel's distribution is really poor and this is an important part of the way we play. Shot-stopping, including pens, they're not far off equal with Vorm getting the edge. Commanding the area - neither are that great but possibly Tremmel. Vorm sticks to his line far too much.

Two good keepers so we're very lucky.

I could never understand DdV leaving to sit on the bench when he had earned a promotion to the self same league he wanted to play in.
    Doughnut!
Tremmel has been a sensational signing, people talk about Michu and Chico etc as signing of the season but Tremmel has to be up there too.
I think that our Teutonic treasure has grasped the mantle and been happy to take any opportunity presented to him to play at ths level. He is coming into his last few years and deserves all the plaudits.
Vorm on the other hand has more natural talent and is younger so the better keeper for me. sign them both up on new deals. Vorm for 5-6 years and Tremmel deserves at least 1 or 2 years more.

Tremmel is outstanding for big games, he rises to the occasion and makes some fantastic saves. Vorm is a bit of a showman but he can be good also but i find he is not tall enough when players shoot with force at the top of the goal also he is prone to mistakes. I find tremmel much safer in goal with his more agile movements and the bit extra height he has over vorm...

I must admit I was one of the guys slating Tremmel after his shoddy display against Stoke.

But, he has filled in VERY well and will rightly have a chance of silverware next season.

That said, Vorm is stll the better keeper overall.
