What do we all think about tomorrow night? I think most people, both Newcastle and Villa fans see this game as a must win. I reckon if Villa lose Lambert will be gone but is Pardew's job safe if we lose? Yes the board have backed him with new signings but could he be out on his arse by Wednesday morning?

Ashely wont sack him for losing to Villa (even though its a must win & Pardew and Ashley both know that) .. I think most people on here probably would though.

Im not going to call for his head anytime soon - I just hope we get 3 points tomorrow night.

Aye spot on. I think it;s a big game, and a draw would be sufficient, but 3 points would be massive. A loss is almost not worth thinking about but there are plenty of games left, and we're not in the relegation zone yet.

Even if we lose (which i hope wont happen, and dont think will happen) you have to think that we still would have the better chance to escape relegation given our new signings.

From the looks of it (http://www.independent.ie/breaking-news/sport/lambert-confident-of-beating-drop-3368740.html) Villa wont be getting any or much new blood in.

By comparison we have potentially signed enough players to form a new spine to the team. That may take time to bed in, but when it does we will have chances to get results against teams higher up the league, where by comparison Villa will still have the same team and hopefully will continue to struggle against the teams they struggled against in the first half of the season.

I don't think either manager will be sacked whatever the result to be honest. All said and done I'm hopeful of a win but wouldn't be surprised if its a draw. They'll be galvanised by all the recent troubles and speculation, we should be feeling a bit better after a good window. I'd like to think we will beat them but our form just doesn't suggest we will. I'm probably alone in that I don't see it as a must win, more a must not lose. Our record there is not the best afterall.

Moussa Sissoko is going to start against Villa but Pardew is unsure of the rest of the new incomings, which implies to me that unpopular and vastly untalented Mike Williamson so shockingly may start over a France international centre back with Champions League experience... the most elementary football knowledge should tell you that is a really dodgy decision. The fact I'm not sure whether or not Alan is considering the error prone League one defender is testament to my confidence in our manager.

It depends really on the performance! If we lose the next 3 games I think Pardew is history.

Despite many other fans talking Villa down and saying we'd have to be terrible to not win there lets not forget that is a team who almost beat us in Newcastle, did beat Sunderland and performed excellently against the likes of Man Utd and Liverpool (who they trashed).

I think we'll draw but get something against Chelski, maybe even a win...

    Tottenham will batter us though.

I agree with the part about Villa, however I think if we get a win we could well get a result at Tottenham.

Can I also just add that if Pardew includes Williamson, Jonas or Ameobi tomorrow at any point and we lose I think he's as good as gone in the eyes of the fans at the very least.

Pards is safe I think as he will be given time to gel the team.
