Apology NOT accepted ! ! If players don't want to come here--Then I say" phouque" you, You can't make people play for you--get over it !!!
Easy. Neither are good enough for the PL and certainly not worth the money Cardiff and Lesta are paying them. We need proven PL strikers which is what SB is looking at getting. Remain calm FFS.
I think we would have signed either of these players if the deal was right. Wood will probably have wanted to stay in The Midlands & Campbell isn't worth 30k a week
With the internet, I am now able to diagnose any ailment without the need of troubling my doctor. I am currently suffering from Dengue fever, but Lemsip ultra seems to be doing the trick.
I would love a list (I know one will never be forthcoming from the club) about players each of our previous managers have tried to sign. Think it would be really interesting to see who we actually might have seen in a Hull shirt and which players which were "rumoured to be joining us" were all in the press' imagination and our wishes
Apparently it's a 5 1/2 year deal, 1 year = £1.56m, 5 years = £7.8m, add on another 6 months if you want but the whole deal is somewhere in the region of £9m, this is also not including any bonuses or signing on fees, even at a 3 year deal it would have been £4.68m add on again the 6 months, transfer fee, somewhere in the region of £6m. Staying fit has been one of Frazier's failures of recent seasons.
So why was all that **** on here the other day about a 5 1/2 year deal? Either way still in the region of £6m.
He wanted a 10 year contract on no money & wanted to pay us for the pleasure of playing for us. We said NO! Try telling kids that today, they won't believe you.
I think Rochdale have gazumped our attempt at getting him on loan by offering a fee of £2058.16 and wages approaching £450.00 a week.
If Chris Wood's goals take us to the Premier League (and that's a big if before anyone gets carried away) then it certainly WILL be worth the money we are paying him .... and whilst it's still relatively early days, he is looking a gem at the price and I wouldn't dismiss him too readily in terms of scoring goals in the Prem - he's still young, quick (for such a big guy), strong and seems to get the pill on target more times than not ...
