Redknapp believes QPR can surprise City Soccer - Barclays Premier League - Queens Park Rangers v Aston Villa - Loftus Road 27/01/2013 by David McIntyre Harry Redknapp is convinced QPR can bounce back from their FA Cup humiliation by upsetting champions Manchester City at Loftus Road on Tuesday. Bottom-of-the-table Rangers, beaten 4-2 at home by League One outfit MK Dons, desperately need to continue their impressive league form if they are to have any chance of avoiding relegation. And manager Redknapp, who rested several first-choice players at the weekend, believes a full-strength Râs side is capable of pulling off another unexpected win. âItâll be a different [QPR] team on Tuesday and weâll be ready,â he said. âPeople who saw the Liverpool game will have thought âThatâs the end of QPRâ but we came back against Chelsea and Tottenham and then went to West Ham and drew.â Redknapp is hopeful Adel Taarabt and recent signing Loic Remy will shake off minor injuries in time to play.
I think a number of us believe we can get a favourable result ....................... whether we are merely dillisonal and or have a genuine belief that we can win, only time will tell. 3 points will do nicely please!
All those attending the match at LR on Tuesday night are going to witness a real crackerjack of a game. Strap yourselves in, keep your arms inside your seats at all times. Your in for one helluva ride!
Fighting talk - but anyone who's really convinced we'll get much out of City must be, as Swords says, away with the fairies tbh. Doesn't stop us wishing and hoping though...
Anything is possible under the lights on a cold January night with the crowd right behind us C'MON U R's.........
With Bricktop on this City are strong all over the pitch we need them to have a real off night as 3 goals wouldn't be enough . Have to win the middle at all costs not just Silva So so difficult to see this one coming good for us but I never give up hope Taarabt key Crowd key Sorry Madrid on a old iPhone with smashed up screen when I get to my studio I will keep an eye on my typos
Just listend to MW on the radio and he said the game we lost 3-2 at LR 'we should have won but we never had 2 center halves' Who were the two defenders as my memory is going?
It was a damn good game last season and we very nearly held them to a 2 all draw. As I recall Kolo won it for them with a thumping header and he is at ACON and Kompany injured? (unless propaganda). Still, they do have one or two more players who are half decent!
