Have a look at this car emerging from the sea foam, brought on by the cyclonic weather we are experiencing here in Queensland. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct...Ha8Gbojv2nj5RKD7g&sig2=x1CiWQpFXIROHKakgJ5qwQ Our thoughts go out to the thousands who are yet again ( only two years ago ) are going through flooding throughout Queensland. Bundaberg is currently experiencing it's worst flood in history, with 40 knot water current expecting to rip houses off their stumps. A very traumatic situation. Aussie.
That's some crazy weather going on up there!! Can't beat a nice cyclone eh aussie?! Got stuck in one up in cape Trib in 2004, trees were being uprooted, landslides. The creeks flooded everywhere, we didn't know if there were crocs in the water as we waded through it!! Same year we left ko lanta and came home a couple of days before the tsunami hit. Turned the tv on to see loads of dead bodies lying on the beach where we had just been sunbathing.........
Cheers mate, just got through 24 hours with no electricity, hot water etc. All shops closed and pitch black here. Power finally back on at 4am this morn.....god that was hard work. Was worse 2 years ago and had tio evacuate. Hoping not gonna be that bad this time round but tide wont peak till @midday..(2am GMT) hoping to speak to ya all soon Byeeeee
Had to work up in Brisbane today - couldn't get to two jobs because the water was still up. A lot of trees fallen onto houses ................ had to do some quick temporary repairs. Sorry to hear about your trouble, Queens.
So we here in Toronto had less than 4" of snow in the last couple of days and think we have it hard - I guess we really don't have much to complain about - Best of luck Queenslander, and to all in your state. I'll think of what I saw on the news as I drive home tonight
