Curtis has hailed the current team legends if we win the cup, and it surpasses our play off final win in Wembley 2 years ago. Not sure about that but they are legends for me. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21220848
The legends of this current squad are only just beginning. This group of players, augmented here and there, and coached by Laudrup is going to achieve a lot of accolades if not trophies over the next couple of years.
If this team stays together along with our manager, supplemented by some choice new signings here and there I agree Yankee.
They are legends while here if they show something special but i wont agree with curt as he is lessening the legend status....you have to be a regular for the minimum of 5 years to be in the frame of reaching legend status...
i agree yankee but this must sureley be an exeption,if this team wins a major trophy for the first time in our history, they must be quite rightly be called legends
These are legends: Swansea: Cutler, Jenkins, O'Leary, Tate, Howard, Coates, Britton, Martinez, Johnrose, Nugent, Thomas. Subs: Freestone, Hylton, Jason Smith, Richards, Williams.
And these are legends: 01 De Vries, 02 Williams, 05 Tate, 16 Monk, 22 Rangel, 32 Dyer, 21 Sinclair, 24 Allen (Moore - 89' ) , 37 Britton (Gower - 77' ), 14 Dobbie (Pratley - 55' ) , 15 Borini, Substitutes, 5 Ma-Kalambay, 17 Serran, 08 Pratley, 27 Gower, 29 Richards, 09 Beattie, 19 Moore
And these are: http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=ch...bJabs0gXF74DoDg&ved=0CHAQsAQ&biw=1366&bih=585 And I am sure you could all name a few more individual/team performances that make the "Legendary" status
Roger Freestone, Herbie Williams, Dzemial Habziabdic and Anton Reckayvic (OK I am pissed now, but you know who I mean) James Thomas, Tony Millington, John Toshack, Lee Trundle, David Gwyther, Mel Nurse, Trevor Ford, Ivor Allchurch, Robbie James, Alan Curtis, Jeremy Charles (Okay Charlo, now your a yaka yaka) ........Georgio Chinaglia (when he didn't play for us)....and Dean Saunders....a John Bond freebie! John Hartson - never played for us and I bet he's gutted, but we still love you John. All of our current squad. Alan Fuc.king Tate. "He broke his leg on a fuc.king golf buggy, a fuc.king golf, buggy, a fuc.king golf, buggy, Alan Tate, Alan Tate,......" Leon - the heartbeat and quarterback of the Club Gary Monk - we haven't even got a song for him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lets sort it out at Wembley 2013 "Oh Gary, Gary, Gary Gary, Gary ****in.g Monk" or "He's Here, he's there, he's every ****.ing where, Gary Monk, Gary Monk"... Every player who has played for us is a legend - because we talk about them. It's just that some are bigger legends than others!
