Good fun game to watch - that's what the FA Cup is all about! Brentford were really good - they were properly up for it as to be expected. Pitch was awful and I think that threw us a lot but no two ways about it we didn't deserve a win today. Oscar goal was superb and Torres was a good un too. Torres scoring got Benitez out of jail today - up till that point FT was dreadful and if we had lost he (Benitez) would have been totally sunk imo. Why does this man wait till so late to change shape, change players etc - he's becoming Mr 80th minute man. *** Anyway, it was good stuff and I look forward to the replay when I hope we play them off the park.
I went to the game... was in the away end... terracing... Was great fun. Really enjoyed the day out and we should get terracing back! Atmosphere was amazing. Flares from the Brentford fans. Bangers and flares from the Chelsea fans. On the pitch a draw was a fair result but it was a poor pitch. Oh and we defo should have had a penalty at the end there.... But we should do them at the Bridge so hopefully Millwall or Leeds away in the 5th round please!
Torres scores a goal at a time when we actually needed one for a change. After today's games ours is the best result.
