Good, because so am I. Ive just got home after watching that pile of sh*te, and I really wish I hadnt bothered and saved my money. The only players that I would hold back too much criticism from would be the two strikers. They had no service. The midfield was a joke and only seem able to play sideways. Park as innefective as ever whilst Granero looks like a Rolls Royce fitted with a diesel engine. The defence was a total shambles. Just how does Ferdinand masquerde as a top level footballer? I also think that Harry must shoulder a fair amount of blame. To make 9 changes to a fairly setlled side unbeaten in 5, was stupid, and also disrespectful to the opposition. And they made us pay for it. And there I was thinking we could have a cup run.
those players out there today are on exceptionally good money and did nothing to earn it its like me going to work and having a 8 hour coffee break
I agree re the changes made but not the middle of the park mate we bossed that but every move broke down by a misplaced pass and sorry but the movement from the front two was poor throughout the game how many times did we have to move sideways today? What does that say? Still it's over now
I don't think you can blame Redknapp too much. If you're a player who hasn't been playing regularly, all you can ask for is a chance to prove yourself, and Redknapp gave quite a few players this chance today. With a game against Man City on Tuesday which is much more important, why would you start players who will clearly struggle to play two games in four days?
TBH I'm happy he rested Nelsen, Hill and Derry more than others. They're quite old in footballing terms and I doubt they could play against Cizy if they played today
My two penneth....I thought Anton was and is not good enough at this level.Ben Haim was OK and a decent second choice CB. Granero is, other than Adel our most gifted player and they are the most likely to unlock the door with a killer pass, but needs a soldier to do the dirty work. Fabio is a liability, i'd rather have Nedum or Luke. Has Ale lost 2 yards of pace or was today an OFF day? J S Park, ??? Does Alex ever get it wrong, looks like he's past his best. When we conceded that early goal I wanted a Clint Hill/Marc Bircham to show passion and pull the troops together or am I pissing in the wind? Please Arry' get us a CB!!!!
